AFROFUTURES is a portrait series exploring Black identity, possibility, and representation through a futuristic lens.
The work reimagines Black figures as powerful, imaginative, and forward-looking subjects placing them in worlds shaped by colour, technology, culture, and possibility. Each piece is designed to feel less like a portrait of who someone is today, and more like a glimpse of who they could become.
At its core, the series is about visibility. Creating images where Black youth can see themselves represented not only in history, but in the future — as leaders, thinkers, creators, and dreamers.
