AWAKE
AWAKE explores Prince’s personal relationship with art, language, and poetry — using visual work and written words as two sides of the same conversation.
Throughout the series, Prince reflects on responsibility, addiction, escapism, running away, and the weight of trying to hold too much at once. The work captures a period of self-examination, where creating became a way of confronting thoughts that were often easier to express through symbols, images, and poetry than through conversation.
AWAKE serves as the series that came before *Symbols EP*, released April 16, 2026, laying the emotional and visual foundation for many of the ideas explored in the project.
